The warm vibes of a fiery piano.

Today, the Australian music blog Indie30, wrote some poetic lines about The Fiery Piano.

"...With hardly a ivory laden tinkle within earshot, Montelius prefers guitar and electronic apparati to drive his sound while eschewing either a drum machine or a traditional drum kit for field recordings and chopped up samples as the vehicles for percussion. The Fiery Piano creates elements of old and new to create a warm, almost pastoral feel..."

I also discovered that someone have uploaded the tracks from the EP on youtube, with some color-changes on the album artwork. It's a strange world we live in.

Have a great weekend!

Pigeons and Planes about The Fiery Piano!

Hello again, brothers and sisters.

I don't want to be crude with all this posting, but since the majority of life-style bloggers writes several times a day, I guess I can't be accused for spamming. After all, you can choose to not continue reading.
Enough! To the point;

What I wanted to tell you was that the music blog Pigeons & Planes wrote about me in a post they made yesterday. Read yourself onwards, and click your way cross the universe HERE.

See you.

Blog posts from Largehearted boy and Faronheit + Upcoming Stufffff.

Good evening, fellow listeners and friends.

Today, the great people at the noteworthy music blog Largehearted boy included Sirens EP in their "Daily Downloads" post, alongside tracks from great bands like The Antlers and Okkervil River. Check out the blog, and view the post HERE.

I also forgot to tell you that the Chicago-based blogger Faronheit did a similar thing last week, only they call their section "Pick your poison". If you want to read more about that, push THIS big button.

This is great news for me, since it's kind of hard reaching out to people without big bucks and major labels backing you up. Fortunately there are nice people out there who write about music that isn't all about generating a cash flow.

Lastly, I would like to take the opportunity, seize the moment (poetry side: ON), or whatever, to announce that we're going to shoot some video footage with the band, hopefully resulting in some series with live versions of TFP songs you have or have not heard, starting next week.
More info about that later.

That's it. Go on. Surf yourself onwards!

Ladies and gentlemen, I'm about to conquer the world (wide web).

Good evening, dear listeners and followers!

I've simply got two things I'd like to tell you;

I've started rehearsing with a band of three great musicians and friends, taking baby steps towards our premiere gig which will happen sometime this summer. I'll let you know when, where and how later on, when we're getting closer. So, stay tuned for that.

Until then, not to sound like a TV commercial, Sirens EP is now on Spotify, as well as on iTunes and several other places in the outer space. It would be stupid to download it from iTunes, though, because the EP is actually still free of charge HERE.
If you still just can't refuse that strong urge to download it from iTunes, I would be more than thankful for the donation. It's like four bucks (=36 SEK) for the whole thing.

Sleep carefully, drive well.
