Videotheque #2! A Murderous Consequence live in a circus tent

Fellow friends.
Long time, no see. The swedish summer explains it all, since its' two months basically make up the limited time you can enjoy the sun up here in The Great North
This time of year, you don't really want to spend your time inside... BUT, we did anyway. In a circus tent actually, in an effort to shoot an acoustic performance of "A Murderous Consequence".
WATCH THE RESULT HERE. Have a great Youtube view, and enjoy the weather.

THANK YOU's goes out to:
Tove Fröberg for putting up with me, and superb vocal back-ups
Jakob Säw and Joanna Larsen for filming, ideas and a whole lot of patience

Peace, love and understating

Pow! Pow! Pow!

Esau from music blog Esau.se included The Fiery Piano in his latest "Poptimist" blog post. It's a great blog, you should really go and check it out (only in swedish, though).
Below is a sneak-preview of a second acoustic live video we recorded some days ago for the song "A Murderous Consequence". Keep your eyes fixed on Youtube if you want to see it.

Videooooooo-theque!

Hello.

We went to a small church and recorded this video of an acoustic version of Sirens.
Before you watch it, I would like to introduce the band that will be playing with me from now on.
Kristoffer Byström, Daniel Nilsson, and Max Anderhell (from left to right, aside from me in the middle).
A big shout-out to Johan Stahre for organizing and holding the camera!

For those who haven't noticed, The Fiery Piano is now also on Facebook. Go to the Facebook Page, and click "LIKE" if you do just that.

Good night.

Earplugs not included, Da da da music blog and video delays.

God dag.

The live video session I mentioned in a previous post has taken a little more time than I hoped it would. The issues are simply editing, and because I suck at it, I've asked for help. If everything works out correctly, an acoustic version of Sirens should be uploaded within a week!

What's also coming up is a music video of Horrible Thoughts - as in the second track on the ep. I can't really tell you a lot about this one yet, other than that I'm really excited to see how it unfolds.

Lastly, I would like to mention two great music blogs, starting with Earplugs Not Included who wrote a great review of Sirens EP - CLICK HERE TO READ IT.
The second one is The Da Da Da Music Blog who once in a while have a "Friday Free Feature". This week was my turn, and you can read about it by staring long enough at THIS button.

I hope you are well.

The warm vibes of a fiery piano.

Today, the Australian music blog Indie30, wrote some poetic lines about The Fiery Piano.

"...With hardly a ivory laden tinkle within earshot, Montelius prefers guitar and electronic apparati to drive his sound while eschewing either a drum machine or a traditional drum kit for field recordings and chopped up samples as the vehicles for percussion. The Fiery Piano creates elements of old and new to create a warm, almost pastoral feel..."

Read the whole post by pressing your finger ON the computer screen, literarily, HERE!

I also discovered that someone have uploaded the tracks from the EP on youtube, with some color-changes on the album artwork. It's a strange world we live in.

Have a great weekend!

Pigeons and Planes about The Fiery Piano!

Hello again, brothers and sisters.

I don't want to be crude with all this posting, but since the majority of life-style bloggers writes several times a day, I guess I can't be accused for spamming. After all, you can choose to not continue reading.
Enough! To the point;

What I wanted to tell you was that the music blog Pigeons & Planes wrote about me in a post they made yesterday. Read yourself onwards, and click your way cross the universe HERE.

See you.
